  • Overnight Guests No additional overnight guests beyond the listed reservation are permitted at the property. 
  • Party Policy Parties exceeding 12 people, including staying guests, are not permitted on the premises, unless written permission is obtained from the Guest Relations Manager. 
  • Quiet Hours Quiet time is observed between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. Please refrain from playing loud music or causing excessive noise during this period.
  • Occupancy Limit and Undeclared Guest Charge The villa is designed to accommodate a maximum of 6 guests. It is imperative that the names of all individuals staying at the villa are provided at the time of booking. In the event that guests are present without prior declaration at the time of booking, a fee of US$75 per undeclared guest per night will be assessed upon arrival. Should the total number of guests surpass the maximum occupancy limit of 6, an additional charge of US$150 per night will be applied for each guest exceeding the occupancy limit.
  • Important Note Regarding Wildlife and Insects Embracing Barbados’ vibrant natural wildlife and habitat, the property may occasionally encounter insects such as bugs, centipedes, and mosquitos. Regular measures are taken to spray the premises, however we will not spray outside of the arranged schedule.  In addition, Guests are recommended to bring their own repellents for added comfort. We strive to maintain a pest-free environment and appreciate your understanding and cooperation. Please do not feed the monkeys, cats, chickens or dogs that may frequent around the villa premises.
  • Important Note Regarding Power Outages: The property is equipped with solar systems, but in the event of a failure, power outages may occur. Power outages may also happen during thunderstorms and heavy rains. Guests are responsible for purchasing coolers and ice to protect refrigerated food in case of power outages. We will provide torches. We cannot be held liable for any loss due to power shortages or weather conditions. Emergency protocols will be provided as and when needed. We will not provide alternative backup power options, such as generators or other alternative sources, but reliance will be placed on the islands power services.  
  • Equipment at the Villa: The villa is fully equipped with all the necessary amenities and appliances as described in the villa description. No additional equipment, including electronics, TVs, kitchen appliances, or any other items beyond what is provided in the villa, will be supplied. We kindly ask guests to utilize the existing equipment available in the villa during their stay. 
  • Maintenance Requests and Contact Hours: For maintenance requests, guests are requested to contact the Guest Relations Manager. Please note that the Guest Relations Manager is available between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. Guests are kindly requested to allow up to 2 business days for maintenance issues to be addressed. We appreciate your understanding and patience. In case of emergencies outside the aforementioned hours or issues that require immediate attention, guests should refer to the emergency protocols. Emergency protocols can be provided upon request by contacting the Guest Relations Manager. 
  • Onsite Staff and Routine Maintenance: Guests are informed that there is an onsite live-in housekeeper. Guests will permit access to the property for cleaning purposes at times that will be arranged with the guests. Cleaning will occur a minimum of twice a week. Guests are also informed that gardening and pool maintenance personnel will attend to the property. Guests will permit access to the property for these services without restriction on a daily basis. 
  • Cleaning Responsibilities and Additional Charges: Guests are required to clean the barbecue grill after each use. If the barbecue grill is left unclean, an excess charge of US$100 will be deducted from the property security deposit for additional cleaning costs. If the villa vehicle is provided and used by guests, it must be returned clean. If the villa vehicle is left unclean, an additional cleaning charge of US$75 will be deducted from the security deposit. 
  • Handling of Items Left Behind: If guests leave any property, valuables, or identification documents behind, they must inform the Guest Relations Manager within 24 hours of their departure. Guests are responsible for sending any postal or drop-off charges for the retrieval of the items, along with a US$50 administration fee. If the Guest Relations Manager is not informed within 48 hours of the guest’s departure, items left behind will be considered abandoned. The Guest Relations Manager reserves the right to donate, dispose of, or otherwise handle the items as deemed appropriate.  
  • Internet Service and Limitations: While we strive to provide a reliable internet connection, guests acknowledge that the internet service may experience occasional disruptions, intermittent connectivity, or slow speeds. In the event of such occurrences, we understand that it may cause inconvenience. Should guests encounter issues with the internet service, this should be reported to the Guest Relations Manager, who will raise a maintenance call to the internet service provider to address the problem. Guests acknowledge that the owners of 10 Seaview Long Beach, its agents, representatives, and employees cannot be held responsible for any loss of internet connectivity or the inconvenience it may cause. This includes any potential impact on work, communication, or entertainment-related activities that rely on internet access.
  • Smart TV Function and Cable TV Provision:
    The villa may have smart TVs in various rooms, allowing guests to access streaming apps using their own credentials. However, in the event of any technical issues or loss of function with the smart TVs, the villa is not responsible for providing a replacement TV or resolving the smart TV functionality. Cable TV is provided exclusively in the designated Entertainment room. Guests may enjoy a wide range of channels and entertainment options in this room. Some rooms may have smart TV connectivity for accessing apps and content. However, if the smart TV functionality in these rooms fails to work properly, the villa will not be required to provide a replacement TV or rectify the connectivity issue. Guests are advised to be prepared with their own streaming service credentials should they wish to access additional entertainment services,  such as Netflix, Roku and so on. 
  • Travel Insurance and Extended Stays: Guests are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel insurance to protect themselves against unforeseen events, including medical emergencies, trip interruptions, or cancellations. Extended Stays due to Medical Reasons: In exceptional circumstances where a guest needs to extend their stay beyond the original booking due to medical reasons or any other exceptional reason, the guest will be charged the higher of US$1,850 per night, or the actual rate per night booked for the unbooked excess stay period, in addition any subsequent bookings that need to be cancelled to accommodate the extended stay will be the responsibility of the guest and must be paid in full, in addition to the unbooked excess stay rate. It is important for guests to understand the potential financial implications of extended stays due to medical reasons and the responsibility for subsequent booking cancellations. Obtaining comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended to mitigate any unforeseen circumstances. Please note that if the time passed of any agreed late checkout arrangement, once the guest is outside the agreed period the above charge would apply for a further night stay, and the Guest agrees for this to be removed the security deposit held to make up for any unpaid dues.
  • Reporting Damages and Glass Items:
    In the event of any damages to the villa property or the provided villa vehicle, it is imperative to immediately report the damages to the Guest Relations Manager. For safety reasons, glass items are strictly prohibited in the pool area, hot tub area, and the upper deck. Please refrain from bringing glass items to these areas to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Air Conditioning Usage
    To conserve energy and promote environmental sustainability, it is expected that the air conditioning will be switched off when not in use or when a room is unoccupied. Your cooperation in practising responsible AC usage is greatly appreciated.
  • Timely Payment of Additional services availed during your stay are to be paid for on the day of the service or in advance, as specified by the villa management.
  • Driving Regulations and Villa Vehicle Usage
    Guests are required to abide by all driving regulations in Barbados and ensure that the designated driver possesses a valid driver’s permit if they have been granted the use of a villa vehicle. If you have selected the Villa Vehicle option, please understand that it is not a hire or rental of the vehicle. It is an added option as part of your villa stay, granted with permission by the owner, for which you are responsible. In the event of being stopped by authorities, it is important to acknowledge and comply with this arrangement and refrain from stating any terms indicating vehicle hire or rental. Failure to do so may invalidate any insurance coverage on the vehicle(s). If you have not opted for the Villa Vehicle option, you are not permitted to attempt to use any villa vehicle during your stay.

Liability Waiver and Acknowledgment of Risks:

By booking and staying at 10 Seaview Long Beach, the guest acknowledges and agrees to the following:

  1. Assumption of Risks: The guest is aware that staying at the villa, this involves certain risks and dangers. These may include, but are not limited to, slips, trips, falls, and other accidents that may result in injury or property damage. The guest willingly assumes all risks involved in their stay at the villa.
  1. Release of Liability: The guest, for themselves and any accompanying parties, hereby releases, waives, and discharges the owner of 10 Seaview Long Beach, its agents, representatives, and employees from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, and causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage, injury, or death, that may be sustained by the guest or any accompanying parties, or to any property belonging to them, whether caused by the negligence of the owner or otherwise, while in, on, or around the premises of the villa.
  1. Signage and Instructions: The guest acknowledges that 10 Seaview Long Beach,  has provided sufficient signage and safety instructions throughout the villa, which they will fully review on their arrival. The guest agrees to read and adhere to all signage and instructions and acknowledges that failure to do so may increase the risks associated with staying at the villa.
  1. Indemnification: The guest agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the owner of 10 Seaview Long Beach, its agents, representatives, and employees from any and all liabilities, claims, damages, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorney’s fees, arising out of or related to the guest’s negligence or wilful misconduct during their stay at the villa.
  1. Damage to Guest’s Equipment and Belongings: The guest acknowledges that there are inherent risks associated with the use of electricity, water supply, and other utilities within the villa. This includes, but is not limited to, damage to or loss of equipment, property, or data as a result of power surges, electrical faults, water leaks, or other utility issues. The guest agrees that the owner of 10 Seaview Long Beach, its agents, representatives, and employees, shall not be liable for any damage, loss, or inconvenience suffered as a result of such issues. The guest is advised to take appropriate precautions, such as using surge protectors for electronic equipment and safeguarding valuable belongings.
  1. Guest’s Responsibilities: The guest agrees to exercise reasonable care in the use of the villa and its facilities. The guest shall be responsible for any damage to the property or loss of or damage to items in the villa caused by the guest or members of their party and may be required to cover the costs of repair or replacement.
  2. Responsibility for Personal Belongings and Valuables: Safes are provided in the villa for the secure storage of valuables. Guests are strongly encouraged to make use of these safes for the storage of valuables, including but not limited to, cash, jewelry, electronic devices, and travel documents. Guests acknowledge and agree that they are solely responsible for the safekeeping of their personal belongings and valuables during their stay at the villa or any items left behind. The owners of 10 Seaview Long Beach, its agents, representatives, and employees shall not be liable for the loss of or damage to any personal belongings or valuables, whether such loss or damage occurs within the villa or elsewhere during the guest’s stay. Guests, for themselves and any accompanying parties, hereby release, waive, and discharge the owner of 10 Seaview Long Beach, its agents, representatives, and employees from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, and causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss or damage to personal belongings or valuables during their stay at the villa, or left behind. 

This agreement shall be governed by and construed under the laws of Barbados and other jurisdiction governed by a booking agent.
